Farming project in Tyre offers 20 jobs

The UN Interim Forces in South Lebanon (UNIFIL)’s South Korean contingent celebrated the inauguration of an agricultural project which it had funded in the town of Bourj Rahal in Tyre district.
The $52,000-project aims at helping farmers improve the efficiency of their production of agricultural goods, and thus increase their household income. Built over an area of 190 square meters, the project comprises a large refrigerator for storing the crop. It also includes equipment for packing fruits, and grinding wheat, as well as a refinery for producing rose water. The project offers 20 job opportunities.
