Telecoms Minister launches free internet service in Sanayeh, after Sioufi

Minister of Telecommunications Nicolas Sehnaoui launched on Friday (September 9) the free internet service in the public park of Sanayeh, ‘Rene Mouawad’, in Beirut.

The initiative by the Ministry of Telecommunications is financed by the Association of Banks (ABL), and SODETEL telecom company.

Sanayeh is the second free internet-enable park after the Sioufi Garden in Ashrafieh, which was launched in June.
The plan involves offering free internet in other parks across several regions.
