Cooperation with Jordan ratified

Beirut and Amman to exchange trade data, encourage local products

The cabinet ratified an executive program of cooperation between the Lebanese Trade Information Center and the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation 2010-2011.

The program, signed in 2011, involves the exchange of publications, figures, and trade information of relevance to the markets of the two signatory states.

The program includes exchanging trade commissions in the framework of inclusive promotional programs, including arranging business-to-business meetings between entrepreneurs from both countries.

The agreement also includes encouraging participation in exhibitions in both countries so as to introduce local products to the two markets.
