Safadi calls French companies to invest in infrastructure projects in Lebanon

The Minister of Finance Mohamad Safadi called French companies to invest in infrastructure projects in Lebanon.
Speaking on the sidelines of ‘Lebanon in France’ exhibit, Safadi reiterated that the 2012 draft budget includes significant investment expenditures in the fields of electricity, water, and gas.

The Minister confirmed the banking sector’s commitment to the global anti-money laundering measures. He also announced that a joint committee will be established between the Lebanese and French Ministries of Finance to follow-up on financial cooperation.
