The Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) issued a decision identifying the provisions for working in packaging soil fertilizers.
The decision stipulated that working in the field of packaging soil fertilizers (and other amelioration products) requires a permit provided through a decision from the General Director of the MoA after the approval of the Fertilizers Commission.
Anyone wishing to work in packaging fertilizers should file an application to the MoA’s Department of Agricultural Resources. The application must include a certificate of registration at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, and a trade record ratified by the Court of Commerce.
According to the decision, the owner of the establishment working in packaging fertilizers should be either an agricultural, chemical, or mechanical engineer or having a contract with such an engineer, or an agricultural or chemical technician or having a contract with such a technician.
The ministry gave all establishments, or individuals, working in the abovementioned activity a one-year period, starting October 20, to rectify their situation in compliance with the decision.
