New service allows sending cash through the internet

BLOM Bank announced that it has launched ‘eCash’, a new person-to-person cash transfer service.

The eCash service enables BLOM’s customers to transfer cash through the internet from anywhere in the world to any person in Lebanon.

In order to be able to use the new service, the clients should be registered with BLOM’s internet or mobile banking services. The client could send any amount between LL20,000 and LL2,000,000, or $20 and $2,000. The bank charges $3 per each eCash transaction.

The recipient does not need to have an account at BLOM BANK. He could withdraw the money through any BLOM Bank ATM using a code communicated to him by the sender.
