They said that nearly 40 percent of their production was adversely affected by the storm.
Abdullatif Obeid, one of the farmers, asked officials to visit the area and look into their “devastating” situation.
The farmers blocked the road by throwing hundreds of kilograms of their citrus crops in a symbolic protest against the unresponsiveness of the government to their demands.
