Mediterranean federation to promote ties with Turkey, Syria, and Jordan

The ‘Federation of Mediterranean Businessmen’ was formed in Beirut in March. The objective of the new association is to boost economic ties among countries in the Mediterranean region, namely Lebanon, Turkey, Syria, and Jordan. 

The association aims to promote cooperation in several economic fields, mainly in the sectors of tourism, trade, and information technology. It will work to promote trade and increase investments among the four countries.

The association was founded by Antonios Ghoreib, Abdul Wadoud Nsouli, Youssuf Kanaan, Mohamad Bizri, and Hisham Nasser.
