Tax cooperation with UAE
Parties agree to collaborate for improving tax mechanisms

The Ministry of Finance signed on Wednesday (May 9) a memorandum of understanding with the UAE for cooperation on tax systems.

According to the MoU, Lebanon and the UAE shall cooperate and exchange expertise for developing tax legislations in both countries. The two countries shall also collaborate to improve tax collection and audit mechanisms.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Conference and Study Center for Tax Administration Managers (CREDAF) held in Beirut in presence of participants from 31 states.
