Bridge to be built at Galerie Semaan

CDR launches tender for the construction
of 344-meter-long overpass

The Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) announced a tender for the construction of the Galerie Semaan Overpass. Interested applicants can obtain bidding documents starting Monday, July 16. The tender will be opened on September 3.

The project consists of the construction of a permanent bridge overpass at the intersection of the Chiyah/Hazmieh Boulevard with Camille Chamoun Boulevard. The overall length of the bridge is 344 meters. Work includes the construction of two side roads adjacent to the overpass.

The CDR said the project will be funded through a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
