Increase in electricity feed promised within 30 months

“Electricity supply across Lebanon will witness a notable improvement once the sector’s reform plan takes effect,” said Gebran Bassil, the Minister of Energy and Water.

Bassil said the electricity plan comprises the leasing of the power-generating barges, which are set to arrive within three to six months. He said the plan also involves collaboration with Iran for further feed. He said progress should be evident within the coming 30 months.
