Safadi said that one project aims at modernizing the transportation sector through the establishment of a new modern road-network covering all Lebanon.

He said that the first step in the project is the establishment of a new railway system, a project he said was approved by the previous government.  

Safadi said that this project will be followed by “modernizing main roads in remote areas such as Hermel and Akkar to enhance equal development across all regions.”.

In terms of human development, Safadi said that the targeted project aims at modernizing public education, which will lead to “an increase in efficiency of workers and will stimulate the path of growth.”

Safadi was speaking on behalf of Prime Minister, Saad Hariri at the opening of the Finance and Business Forum.
