Construction permits down by 13 percent

Construction permits in the first nine months of 2012 totaled 10.7 million square meters, down by 13.4 percent from the same period in 2011, according to data from the Orders of Engineers of Beirut and Tripoli.

In parallel, cement deliveries decreased by 5.8 percent compared to the same period in 2011, totaling 3.9 million tons.
