El-Hajjar Enterprises Company (HEC) has launched its Greenville residential development. The gated community project, located in Roumieh, comprises 18 low-rise buildings, each consisting of a ground floor and three upper floors.
“The value of the project hovers at $45 million,” said James Cherfan, senior sales executive at HEC. Apartment sizes range between 135 and 285 square meters. A total of 136 residential units will be built.
According to Cherfan, 80 percent of the units have already been sold off-plan. “The majority of buyers are newlyweds, and the most demanded apartment size is 150 square meters,” he said.
Construction is set to start by summer 2013 and will take three years for completion.
Buildings in Greenville are environment-friendly. “Apart from the gardens at each ground floor apartment, the project boasts 1,000 square meters of green landscapes,” Cherfan said. Greenville also includes a gym, a children’s playground, and a minimarket.
Buyers have the option to upgrade their apartments to become a ‘smart home’. “If the apartment is ‘smart’, owners can control all electric appliances through their mobile phones,” Cherfan said.
