Total Liban launches road safety campaign

CSR initiative targets local schools

Total Liban has launched an educational campaign on road safety across local schools. It aims at creating awareness about key issues in road safety among some 4,000 school children this year.

Titled ‘On the way for your safety’, the campaign targets students aged between six and 12. “The campaign addresses future drivers,” said Alain Mansour, Head of HSEQ and SD department (Hygiene - Safety - Environment - Quality and Sustainable Development) at Total Liban.

Initiated in January 2013, ‘On the way for your safety’ campaign has had positive feedback so far.

Throughout the campaign, around 30 trained Total employees will be visiting schools to deliver awareness sessions and games.

The campaign has a budget of around $50,000 funded by Total Liban.
