Five KSA branches to open each year

Local eatery Zaatar w Zeit will be opening its first branch in Riyadh, KSA during the first quarter of 2013. The restaurant has a broad expansion plan for the KSA, targeting up to 50 branches in the coming ten years, said Manuel Wazen, Communications Manager.

The Zaatar w Zeit franchisor in the KSA is the UAE-based Cravia, a firm which already has the franchise for the concept in the UAE.

Zaatar w Zeit will expand its network in the region with new branches planned for Gulf countries. Two branches will be added to the eight outlets already operating in Dubai, and one new branch will be launched in each of Qatar and Kuwait, raising the number of branches in these two countries to four and five respectively. A new branch will also be opened in Jordan.

Locally, Zaatar w Zeit has recently opened two branches, in Hamra and in Gemmayzeh, and will be opening a third outlet in the food court of the Beirut City Center mall in Hazmieh.

With the opening of the Beirut City Center branch, Zaatar w Zeit will raise the total number of its local branches to 11.
