Public can test 4G at ABC Ashrafieh

IDM and Cyberia launch iStream Shop

A lab for testing the 4G network speed will be launched in ABC mall Ashrafieh in collaboration with the Ministry of Telecommunications.

The lab, called iStream Shop, is jointly sponsored by IDM and Cyberia. “We will be performing a demo on the impressive live streaming,” said Maroun Chammas, CEO and Chairman of Berytech and Shareholder at IDM. Through the high-speed 4G network, users will be able to watch videos and live TV in real time.

iStream Shop will be open for free public trial of the 4G mobile Internet technology and DSL (for personal computers). “This test will be an introduction to the new era of Internet connection the local market will be using soon,” Chammas said. The lab will be open until the end of May
