Airport passengers increase in first quarter

The number of passengers at Rafik Hariri International Airport rose by 11 percent in the first quarter of 2013 to 1.37 million.

Transit passengers fell by 72 percent in the first three months.The number of commercial flights fell by 28 percent. The number of flights for private jets fell by 34 percent. Imported and exported cargo through the airport rose by 30 percent.
