Q Hotel, a new boutique hotel, will officially open its doors on June 14. The hotel is located in Wardieh Street, just off Hamra Main Street, facing Fransabank

Q Hotel is a four-star hotel awaiting its official certification from Veritas and the Ministry of Tourism, said Chady Khoury, Front Office Manager at the hotel.

Queen Hospitality, chaired by businessman Nassim Kanso, will manage the hotel. The chain also runs the Queens Suite Hotel and Villa Queens in the Hamra area.

The hotel is located in an old building that was entirely renovated to fit the hotel’s standards. According to Khoury, investment in the hotel reached around $5 million.

“We chose this particular location because it is a ‘golden corner’ in Hamra, very close to the Central Bank, the American University of Beirut (AUB), the AUB Medical Center, and the Down Town area,” Khoury said.

He said that Queen Hospitality opted for three outlets in Hamra due to high demand for such concepts there. “We are mainly targeting businesspeople and VIPs who see Hamra as a business hub.”

Q Hotel proposes 26 units, mainly suites, spread over seven floors, and boasts a classy Baroque style. The hotel also has a restaurant and a lounge.

The hotel has been taking reservations since three weeks back.

Khoury said that they are eying serious expansion but new locations are still under study.
