Digital Arabic Content Competition launched
Berytech, ESCWA promote innovation

Beryetch will launch the ‘Digital Arabic Content Competition’ in partnership with the ESCWA on September 19. The competition aims to promote the Digital Arabic Content (DAC) industry by encouraging entrepreneurs to build innovative applications and products keeping with the latest trends and technologies.

Winners of the competition will benefit from Berytech’s support to grow their business. They will be granted an incubation period of up to 12 months with partner business incubators that includes mentoring, advising, guidance, and access to business networks, as well as office facilities.

The competition is developed by the Information and Communication Technology Division (ICTD) at the ESCWA.

Submitted proposals could address any subject relevant to the socioeconomic development of the Arab region through DAC, including: e-government applications, e-learning, e-health, e-culture, media, and science, as well DAC development software.

The deadline for submitting proposals is October 15.
