Beirut-based ERGA Architects has been appointed as the main consultant for architectural design on the Marsa Al-Seef project in Bahrain. Another local firm, ATT Group, will design the project’s infrastructure. The project is owned by the Global Banking corporation (GBCORP) and will cost around $2.5 billion, funded by private investors.

The project, located on the northern coast of Bahrain, consists of a waterfront development stretching over 2.5 million square meters. Marsa Al-Seef includes a marina, a residential complex, a mall, two hotels, and office buildings.

ATT Group will plan and oversee infrastructure and engineering works on the marina, internal road networks, high-capacity parking lots, and marine canals. It will also conduct traffic impact studies (TIS) and analyses.

ATT Group, founded by Samir El-Hage and established in Lebanon since 2001, has handled infrastructure works locally and in Arab countries such as the KSA, Morocco, the UAE, and Bahrain.

ERGA Architects has designed a number of residential, commercial, and services buildings in the GCC and MENA regions. The company is owned by Elie and Randa Gebrayel, and operates offices in those regions as well as in France.
