The ‘Lebanon Country Rounds’ of the regional ArabNet Developer Tournament, sponsored by Arabnet and Touch, will be held on October 26, 2013. Naharnet and Tech-Ticker are the project’s media partners.

The competition will give web and mobile developers the chance to test their skills, discover the latest technologies at the ‘Code Lab’, and explore career opportunities at the job fair.

The tournament will include three rounds with a panel of judges selected among leading companies in the industry. Projects will be awarded points based on functionality, robustness, usability, and creativity. The top four projects will receive cash prizes between $2,500 and $500.

The winners will also receive flight tickets, free accommodation, and free entrance to the ArabNet Dubai Digital Summit 2014 in Dubai. They will compete against developers from five other Arab countries (Jordan, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia) in the final ‘Regional Championship’.
