The edutainment theme park, KidzMondo, is planning to open in 20 European Union (EU) countries, as well as in the Arab world.

The local $25 million KidzMondo is owned by Kidz Holding S.A.L, a company founded by two Lebanese investors and majority shareholders: Chairman Ali Kazma, owner of Kaztel & Kazma Trading, and Vice Chairman Hind Berri, co-owner of Kzone Outdoor Advertising Group. Local operations started in early June 2013.

The expansion project was the result of a partnership agreement with the Dogmoch Group and various German companies. Dogmoch Group is chaired by Syrian-German investor Senator Mohammed Yassin Dogmoch. He has also invested in the local hospitality sector, injecting some $20 million to buy majority shares in the Midtwon Hotel, Hamra.

Kidz Holding said this partnership is a necessary step towards spreading their concept to Europe and the rest of the world.

The company announced the beginning of preparations and construction activities to open KidzMondo branches in Spain and Germany. Five KidzMondo branches are expected to open in Europe within the next seven years.

The concept will also be exported to Turkey, the UAE and other Arab and Gulf countries. KidzMondo has signed a franchise deal in Turkey with the Dogan Group. The theme park will open by end-2013 located in Istanbul’s Trump Towers, on the European side of the city.

KidzMondo’s comprehensive concept seeks to prepare children aged 2-14 years for adult professional and social life. Its activities are designed to enhance their physical and mental development.
