Zakka Multitec goes to Africa

Industrial machines showroom in Côte d'Ivoire

Zakka Multitec, provider of industrial bottling and packaging technologies for the food & beverage, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries, opened a retail and service branch in Côte d'Ivoire, located in the industrial zone of the Koumassi town. The branch marks the company’s first venture into Africa. “After studying the market, we found good potential there,” said Jean Zakka, Chief Operating Officer.

The company supplies and services industrial machines imported from Europe (mainly Italy, Germany, and Spain), and the US. “Our products can cater to huge industrial facilities in the West African market,” said Zakka.

Zakka Multitec, headquartered in Beirut, has already fully-owned branches in Damascus (Syria), Limassol (Cyprus), Amman (Jordan), Erbil and Baghdad (Iraq).

The African branch includes a showroom and a stock of spare parts for urgent needs. “Our objective is to provide high-end technologies coupled with fast and effective commercial and technical service, the Lebanese way,” he said.
