“We will work hard to re-establish the air route,” said Abboud, who is currently visiting Spain.
Spanish Minister of Tourism, Juan Miskida said that the increase in number of Spanish tourists to Lebanon is tied to the establishment of this route which would “facilitate organizing weekly flights, and educational trips to the capital Beirut.”
Miskida said that this route will urge Spanish tour operators to visit tourist sites in Lebanon, and in line, advice tourists to do so through organizing special trips and packages for them.
