Lebanon inched up 75 positions on the scale from 2007, scoring 3.34 points which reflects its well-developed trade facilitation programs.
Among 17 regional countries, it came in the third place, inching up from the 13th place in 2007.
The United Arab Emirates was the only Arab State that came ahead of Lebanon on the index. The UAE ranked in the 24th place scoring 3.63 points.
The LPI study is conducted every two years to provide an assessment for the logistics services provided in worldwide countries.
Germany received the highest rating on the scale scoring 4.11 points while Somalia came last scoring only 1.34 points.
