Chemaly law firm expands to Gulf

Local law firm Chemaly & Company has launched its bureau in Abu Dhabi. It will provide legal advisory, along with ‘legal process outsourcing’ (LPO).

LPO, a developing concept in the USA and Europe, is little known in the MENA region. It is the process by which a company or a law firm outsources the review of legal and corporate documents to a third party for review and editing.

Chemaly and Company provides this service for drastically lower fees than those required by international firms. “You can save up to 90 percent of the lawyer fees,” said Joseph Chemaly, founder of the company.

Chemaly said that they believe in the potential growth of this service. “We are working to push it further locally and in the region.” According to him, LPO is a medium to hire fresh graduates, many university students who lack employment opportunities may find it here.

Chemaly & Company has more than 40 years of experience in local, regional and international law. The services that it delivers cover corporate advisory, namely corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance, company governance and administration and the organizational design.
