Mixed-use project in Bashoura

BDD Hub to
be ready by 2017

BDD Hub, part of the Beirut Digital District, is being designed by ZRE, a local real estate development group and partner in BDD. The project, located in Bashoura, will be a mixed-use business and residential center, with a built-up area of 45,000 square meters. It will be ready by the end of 2017.

The project includes a 4,000 m2 hotel targeting business travelers furnished apartments and retail areas offering a selection of services for the community will also be developed.

The project also includes 100-1,000 square meters offices and 90-120 square meters residential units.

Christelle Abou Jaoude, Sales and Marketing Manager at ZRE, said: “The concept design will be complete in the next three months. Works on the project will start during the fourth quarter of this year or in early 2015.”

“No contractors have been chosen so far,” Abou Jaoude said. Management firms and retail brands have not been selected yet to occupy the hotel and other commercial areas.

Common areas include 1,000 square meters in exhibition space, an auditorium hall, and a research and development center. It will also include training classes and other recreational facilities such as a gym, a kindergarten, and outdoor landscaped areas.
