Beach resort Bamboo Bay, located in Jiyeh, has finalized a $1.5 million renovation and expansion. It was inaugurated last Saturday.

The resort is now run by new management, Sunset Jiyeh, co-owned by entrepreneurs Ghassan Al Abdallah the owner of Laguna and Al Jesr beach venues, and Mohamed Janoun.

Janoun, General Manager of the resort, said that the resort offers its guests new facilities.

Bamboo Bay initially had six Jacuzzis and the sand beach, but now it has private cabins, a VIP section with a pool and eight private Jacuzzis, a wooden dock for parties, ten terraces, and a large event venue. The ‘Bamboo Bay Village’ had 13 bungalows added to it.

The parking area was expanded to increase the number of spaces from 100 to 500.

The renovation was finalized in 120 days.
