Local supermarket and hypermarket chain Bou Khalil is opening a new outlet on Saida – Beirut highway, in Damour region. The opening is expected between 15 and 25 July.
Chawki Bou Khalil, General Manager of the chain said that they always search for good expansion opportunities, to develop their presence in new regions. “We were among the first chains to tap regions such as Zahlé and Kousba-Koura region, and with our new branch in Damour we are tackling new customers.”
He said that their catchment area includes residents of the Southern Coast, the South, Aley, and Chouf regions.
The building’s construction was funded by local investors, who leased the land from one of the monastic orders. “We have leased the ready property for 18 years,” Bou Khalil said.
The building consists of a 1,000 square meter floor and a 750 mezzanine offering fast moving consumer goods.
Bou Khalil said that they will always be ready to expand in different regions. “We are also planning to launch renovation plans in all our branches soon.”
The first Bou Khalil Supermarket opened in Baabda in 1980. The chain has now nine branches, including two in Baabda, and others in Feytroun, Mkalles, Tripoli, Ras Beirut, Zahle, Jbeil, and Antelias
