Local eatery Al Falamanki is opening its first branch in Dubai in April 2015, said Tony Ramy, Managing Partner of Ramy Holding, which includes Al Sultan Brahim Restaurants Group, Al Diwan Beirut, Al Falamanki, and B018 nightclub.
The total investment in the project is $5 million. “For the time being, we are not looking to franchise Al Falamanki, despite the numerous offers we have received.”
The restaurant will be located in Jumeirah, facing the Four Seasons Hotel. It is currently under construction on a 2,000 square meter piece of land, which already hosts a villa. “We are renovating the villa and adding extensions to give Al Falamanki theme and style,” Ramy said.
He said that all designs will be preserved and special themed items will be brought from the restaurant’s local branch.
Al Falamanki opened its only outlet in Beirut, Sodeco, in 2008.
