Water collection program to avoid dry seasons

The Ministry of Environment in coordination with the UNDP executed a program for rain water collection from agricultural green houses in Choueifet, Damour and Kfarmashoun.

The project is financed by the Lebanese Development Fund.

The project is is expected to reduce by 45 percent the water usage annually expended in these regions. The project is designed to help provide natural water resources to provide water in dry season.
