Billboard regulations to change

A national billboard strategy will be launched soon to organize and restructure billboard licenses across the country. The Council of Ministers has approved a draft decree in this direction.

According to Ghaleb Kandil, member of the National Media Council billboard advertisements were handled by municipalities. “Advertisers had to obtain their licenses from municipalities and the General Security supervised the content.” According to him, the new regulations by the Cabinet will organize and restructure the business scheme.
