Beirut Port activity slows down in holiday season

Revenues drop ten percent year-on-year to $13 million in January

The numbers released by the Port Authority cites a drop in number of vessels operating at the port to 174 ships 6.9 percent compared to the corresponding month a year earlier.

Number of containers dropped to 71,024 container, down 4.96 percent from January of last year.
