WGC: Lebanon's gold reserve highest in MENA

Lebanon accounted for 29 percent of the region's total gold reserves at the end of December of last year.
Globally, Lebanon ranked in 15th place in terms of gold reserves in 2009 among 105 global countries, accounting for 1.1 percent of the world’s total gold reserves.
