LIFE factory expands in Roumieh

Lebanese Investment for Environment Limited (LIFE), a local manufacturer of hygiene chemical products, will expand its factory in Roumieh. Construction works for the new extension will be finalized in early 2017.

Joseph Mansour, General Manager of LIFE, said: “The new extension will be established to double the production for exports.”

The $1 million expansion will have a total built-up area of 1,000 square meters. The production capacity of the factory will be doubled to 1,000 tons of detergents, annually. The extended factory will open five new jobs.

LIFE produces around 60 hygiene products that are distributed to hotels, restaurants and factories. Mansour said that after expanding the factory the brand named, ‘Life’ will be available in supermarkets.

The company exports part of its produce to Iraq and African countries. “We will be conducting market studies to penetrate new markets.”
