Hajj Hassan said that the program calls for holding up support for the ’Export Plus Program’, the national program for export support, and appointing 150 new engineers to increase efficiency of the Ministry’s committees.

The Minister said that he has decided to support IDAL’s program. “The earlier decision to halt support for IDAL which was expected to be implemented starting 2011 should be cancelled,” he said.

The decision on Export Plus rests with the Council of Ministers.

The Ministry will launch the tree plantation program to reestablish tree cover on 13 percent of the national territory and later 20 percent, he said.
