Nini hospital will expand
its premises in Tripoli
A $50 million investment to add 90 beds

Construction works have been launched to expand Nini Hospital in Tripoli. The extension will be ready in 2020.
With an investment estimated at around $50 million, the expansion will increase the total built-up area of the hospital from 7,000 to 35,000 square meters, adding another 120 jobs to the current 480 full time workers. The number of beds will increase from 110 to 200 beds. “We need more beds to serve the patients in this area,” said Rabih Turkieh, Human Resources Manager of Nini Hospital.
Turkieh said that the operation rooms, intensive care, as well as the specialized medical centers, and the administrative offices will gain a larger area. The hospital will host three underground floors for the parking.
Nini Hospital was established in 1928. It was ISO 9001 certified in 2004for quality management. The hospital is Overseas Project Cooperation of Victoria (OPCV) accredited. It is based in Australia and related to expert project management, consultancy and procurement services. It is also La Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) accredited. The hospital is working to gain ISO 22000 certification for food safety.
