Excavation works have begun on the Danco Commercial Center (DCC), a retail destination in Choueifat, expected to be completed in two years.
The project, owned by Mohammad Kassab, will be built on an 8,000 square meter land plot. It will have a built-up area of 46,000 m2 and a gross leasable area of 25,000 m2. The center will have eight floors, three of which will be underground parking lots for 400 vehicles. DCC will include retail shops, showrooms, restaurants, and offices.
Investment in the development is $15 million, according to Nizar Nasr of Nizar Nasr for Architecture and Consultancy, the project’s designer. Idrissy is the contractor of concrete works. DCC is the third commercial center slated for the area, after The Spot Choueifat, and another shopping center owned by Ameen Dakdouk.
