Adloun port construction to begin

The construction of a fishermen’s port in Adloun will begin within the coming few months.

A tender was won by Khoury Contracting Company, for the construction of the port, at a value of $5 million. The duration of works is 18 months, according to Charbel Rizkallah, the project’s manager.

Construction will include a breakwater of 600 meters and the fabrication and installation of concrete blocks (Accropodes). It will also consist of the supply and installation of different types of rocks and underwater excavation.

The works will be done on behalf of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation.
