Furniture factory to open in Kab Elias

Al Mada for Industry and Trade will open a factory for furniture in the industrial zone of Mandara, Kab Elias in early 2016.

The factory’s production capacity will reach 250 pieces of furniture per month, for sitting rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms.

Investment in the project is around $5 million. According to General Manager Jamal Abou Ali, the cost of the industrial plot of land in Mandara is $120 per square meter. He said he financed the project without taking out any bank loans.

The factory will have a built-up area of 4,000 m2. It will sell retail, through its in-house showroom, as well as wholesale. The company will employ 120.
