Nylon bag factory in Nabatieh

Cheaib for Industry and Trade, a manufacturer of nylon bags, will open a factory in Nabatieh in the summer of 2016.

Investment in the project is $1 million. It will have a total built-up area of 1,200 square meters, equipped with machines imported from Taiwan.

The production capacity of the factory is around 80 tons of plastic bags per month. Ali Cheaib, General Manager, said that final products will be distributed in all regions.

“The company also has the ability to provide customized printed bags, according to the customer’s request,” he said.

The project is expected to create around 15 full time jobs.
