The two advertising agencies Spirit and Inhouse Communications have merged. The new entity will keep the ‘Spirit’ brand.
The two companies consolidate their businesses as of February into a bigger agency that will be engaged in diverse communication and marketing services and in more specialized activities.
The merger will help Spirit grow and will enable it to boost its revenues by about 30 percent, said Hani Haddad, who will be the chairman of the new entity. He said that the combined annual billings of Spirit and Inhouse Communications are nearly $30 million.
Haddad said that Spirit’s strong presence in Dubai will be leveraged to expand the new agency’s activity in the region and to boost the exposure of clients in the Gulf.
Jihane Nasrallah, founder and Managing Director of Inhouse Communications will be the Managing Director of the new entity. Maya Saab will keep her current role at Spirit as its Regional Creative Director. Haddad, Nasrallah, and Saab are the major shareholders in the new company.
