Via Mina, a boutique hotel in Mina-Tripoli owned by a company controlled by a holding owned by Taha Mikati and his brother, former Prime Minister Najib Mikati, is open for business. It was classified by the Ministry of Tourism as a historical boutique hotel.
The building, which dates to the 19th century, was purchased by the Mikati family many years ago. The hotel is managed by Fadi al Sidawi. A French colonial-style hotel, Via Mina consists of 16 standard rooms, two suites, two family suites, and two duplex suites. The total land area is 1,000 square meters. The hotel is made up of three blocks, the first with 12 rooms, the second with six, and the third with four.
Via Mina Hotel includes a bar, an outdoor pool and pergola, a café, and other amenities. Its banquet hall is 180 m2. Room rates vary between $160 and $240 per night.
