Abniah to develop
Waterfront City Business Park

Contract value around $100 million

Local contracting firm Abniah is in the final negotiations stage with Majid Al Futtaim to develop the Business Park at Waterfront City Dbayeh, according to Maroun Helou, General Manager of Abniah.

Helou said: “Although it is not yet completely set, the contract value is around $100 million.”

The Business Park comprises 12 buildings surrounding an integrated ‘campus’ design. It will host high-end office spaces, with functional floor plans, managed facilities, and sustainable operations. It can host up to 6,000 staff and 1,600 parking spaces.

The Park stretches over 30,000 square meters (m2), 18,000 m2 of which are open green spaces. Office sizes range between 100 m2 and 1,000 m2. A diversified retail mix will be available at the ground floor levels.

The office buildings will incorporate many features, such as 24 hour on-site security, courier collection and deliveries, and a fiber-optic backbone which will support high-speed Internet, video conferencing, virtual private networking for corporate users, IPTV services, public Wi-Fi, IP telephony.
