Cosmetics factory to open in Taanayel

Walid Fadel Kadiri and Brothers (WFK & Bro), a recently established company, will open a cosmetics factory in Taanayel, Zahlé, in early 2017.

Production capacity is expected to reach 1,000 tons per year. Around 12 items will be manufactured under the brand name ‘Bridge Care’ and include shampoo, creams, and lotions.

The two-million-dollar factory will have a total built-up area of 1,100 square meters (m2) and will create around 50 full time jobs.

Walid Kadri, Managing Partner and pharmacist, said that the factory has been awarded both ISO 9001 and the Good Manufacturing Product (GMP) certificates.

Kadri said that 70 percent of the production will be exported to Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Nigeria.
