The dam will have a capacity of one million cubic meters and will supply 35 villages in Mount Lebanon with water.

The loan agreement was signed by the chairman of CRD, Nabil Al Jisr, and director general of KFAED, Abdul Wahab Ahmed Al-Bader.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Water and Power, Gebran Bassil who said he has asked Al Badr to finance similar development projects in Lebanon annually.

Al Badr expressed the Fund’s commitment to finance water and power projects which are fundamental to the population.
