To start bottling glass gallons

Talaya will install additional production lines in its Tarshish water plant for the bottling of 15 liter glass gallons. The company invested around $5 million to increase the plant to 3,000 square meters (m2).

Each glass gallon retails for $20, and $5 per refill.

Marcel Hajj, General Manager, said that the company has plans to double business over the next two years.

The company was established in 2012 and is a subsidiary of XOL Automation, which owns the e-commerce platform zoohoor.com.

Talaya already distributes 11 liter plastic gallons and one liter glass bottles.
