To produce 10,000 tons per year

Daher Foods, manufacturer of Master potato chips, will open in June a nuts and kernels factory in Ferzol, Bekaa. Investment is estimated at $9 million

The factory will have a total built-up area of 7,000 square meters (m2) and will produce up to 10,000 tons of nuts per year.

Michel Daher, Chairman of Daher Foods, said that the products will carry the ‘Master’ brand name.

Daher said: “It will be easy to market this new line because we already have our own distribution fleet and market share.”

The factory will create 120 full time jobs.
