Bchamoun cosmetics factory
to produce German brand

Skin care, lotions, shampoos,

disinfectant products

Original Dental, a medical equipment supplier, will open a factory for cosmetics and disinfectant solutions in Bchamoun later this month.

The company will produce 13 products including skin care, lotions, shampoos, and disinfectant under the German brand name Aqua Distel and Ozonide brand names.

Nabil Bilalli, General Manager, said: “We used to import, pack, and distribute these brands. We have now signed a franchise agreement to produce them locally, to reduce our costs.”

Bilalli said that the German company will visit the factory from time to time to confirm that production is up to their standards.

Investment in the project is $1 million. The total built-up area of the factory is 400 square meters.

Production capacity will be 40,000 liters per month. Products will be distributed locally to pharmacies, poultry companies, among others.

Bilalli said that they are in the process of gaining the CE Marking certification which would allow the company to export part of the production to Europe. Products will also be exported to Saudi Arabia and African countries.
